Male Choir
Male Choir Sirkat have their rehearsals in Jyväskylä Christian Institute (Sulkulantie 28) on Mondays at 6 pm. We are willing to take in new singers.
The Choir School for Men is held at Harju High School (Jyväskylän Lyseo Upper Secondary School, Sepänkatu 3) in Jyväskylä. It includes four two-hour gatherings that explore the basics of choral singing and experiment with vocal singing in a safe atmosphere. Nobody at this school is criticized! The school introduces participants to the correct use of sound. After attending the choir school, the participant will be able to consider whether choral singing would be possible with his voice. The organizers hope that the participants will find a suitable male or mixed choir to join. After the training, those who wish will be offered the opportunity to participate in the audition of the choir of their choice in order to become a member of the choir. The choir school will be held on four consecutive Wednesdays 5.2.2020 – 26.2.2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The school's teachers are Kimmo Tuuri, artistic director of the Male Choir Sirkat, and Kari Anttila, deputy director. Attending the course is free of charge and advance registration is also not needed.

On May Day every year regardless of the weather we will give our free concert boldly out of doors on Kolmikulma's stairs.
